River Revelations:

The last few years have been rough for our country.  Sometimes I feel like God has turned His back on us, and I have to say I can’t blame Him.  We have fallen so far from His mercy and grace and our nation, and His church is in a mess.

Yesterday, He reminded me of a poem I wrote when I was going through cancer treatment.  It isn’t really that great, but it is from my heart.  See, when we feel like our life changes are so severe that we will never be the same again, we have to remember that we serve a God who never changes, He is the same yesterday, today and forever.  No matter what the world believes, His word is truth, and we have to stand on that truth or fall to the lies of satan.  Hold on He’s coming soon.

Hebrews 13:5AMP I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)!

Lord my soul cries out for thee

in the midst of my humanity.

My heart longs to know you so,

for I will never ever let You go.

I’ll cleave, I’ll stand, I’ll lean on thee

Till a change occurs in me,

And when, I’m sure; when I really know

I still will never ever let You go.

For how I long to see Your power

In my deepest darkest hour,

For I am Your vessel, I love you so

And I’ll never ever let you go.

Show forth Your love, show forth Your grace

That I may look upon Your face

And know I’m Yours, You love me so

I’ll never ever let you go.
