In these trouble times it seems appropriate to go to the foundations of our Faith.  Psalm 23 is such a beloved word from Papa for this day.

I shared this with my brother who was battling Lukemia at the time, he was not a Christian, but this brought him great peace and comfort. Eventually he did receive Christ as his Saviour before dying. Praise God!  I hope it brings peace and comfort to someone today.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

And my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.  Phil 4:19

He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

I will feed them in good pasture, and their fold shall be on the high mountains of Israel.  There they shall lie down in a good fold and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.  Eze. 34:14

For the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.  Revelation 7:17

He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

Lead me, O Lord; in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way straight before my face. Psalm 5:8

For You are my rock and my fortress; therefore, for Your name’s sake lead me and guide me.  Psalm 31:3

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me, Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

When you pass through the rivers, they shall not overflow you, when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.  Isaiah 43:2

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil, my cup runs over.

And wine that makes glad the heart of man, oil to make his face shine, and bread which strengthens man’s heart.  Psalm 104:15

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Since the time that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel, and have caused you to rest from all your enemies.  Also the Lord tells you that He will make you a house.  2 Samuel 7:11
